Any aircraft in this 3000 nm near transatlantic range today is at least a midsize business jet around 12-20 tons...

The PJ III as a VLJ is much smaller than anything flying a 3000 nm distance today.

In this sense, we describe possibly a new category of aircraft...

The Investor's Vision

The Investor has a commercial interest in the project – but not only.

As a first-stage investor, his role has been to finance the development of the Piero Jet III technology to its present level of maturity. The next step is to bring in a strategic investor – ideally an established aircraft manufacturer – to industrialize, certify, and commercialize the concept.

A key motivation is to help refocus business aviation toward greater fuel efficiency and environmental sustainability. This is not about limiting aviation, but about making individual air transport more affordable, more efficient, and ultimately more widely accepted. As a pilot himself, he believes that conservation of energy is one of aviation's greatest remaining opportunities.

The Piero Jet III technology was designed for the aviation industry. At this stage, the investor is prepared to entrust the know-how to a capable manufacturer under mutually beneficial commercial terms.

It is generally recognized that future aircraft programs will increasingly compete on efficiency. Manufacturers who overlook available fuel-saving innovations may find these advantages adopted elsewhere.

"Back to the Future"

Earlier generations of aircraft often achieved remarkable range with surprisingly little fuel. Ironically, Charles Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis crossed the Atlantic carrying approximately the same fuel volume while achieving a comparable range.

So why would it not be possible to accomplish the same 100 years later,
with the technology of pressurized cabins and flying in 50.000 feet?
